ÖTÜKENTerms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Voltan Solar Enerji Sistemleri A.Ş. ("we", "us") for the use of Ötüken: Rise of the Steppe (the "Game") and otukenrise.com. By creating an account or playing, you accept them. If you obtained the Game through Steam, the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's terms also apply.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). If you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms.
- Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. One person may not share an account or operate multiple accounts to gain an advantage.
- Usernames must not impersonate others or be offensive.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play the Game for non-commercial purposes. All rights in the Game — including its art, text, code, characters and world — belong to us or our licensors.
3. Virtual items and purchases
- The Game is free to play and offers optional purchases of virtual currency (such as Elmas) and virtual items. These are a licence to use digital content inside the Game; they have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and cannot be sold or transferred outside the Game.
- Purchases are processed by the store you use (Steam, Apple or Google). Refunds are handled under that store's refund policy and applicable consumer law.
- Prices and the content of offers may change. Virtual items may be modified or rebalanced as part of running the Game.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country.
4. Rules of conduct
You agree not to:
- use cheats, bots, macros, modified clients, or exploit bugs, and you agree to report bugs you find;
- buy, sell or trade accounts or virtual items for real money, or use unauthorised payment methods;
- harass, threaten, or post hateful, sexual, or illegal content in chat, names or alliance texts;
- attack, overload or reverse-engineer our servers or the Game, except as permitted by law;
- impersonate our staff.
We may warn, temporarily suspend, reset progress gained unfairly, or permanently close accounts that break these rules.
5. Computer-controlled characters
To keep the world alive, the Game includes computer-controlled tribes and characters, some of which appear on the map and in chat. They are part of the Game and are not real players.
6. An online service that evolves
The Game is an online service. We may update, change, add or remove features, run maintenance, or reset seasons. We will try to announce significant changes in advance. If we ever shut the Game down, we will announce it at least 60 days beforehand and stop selling virtual currency at the time of the announcement.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of what you write (such as chat messages and alliance texts) but give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display it within the Game. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The Game is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and are not liable for indirect or consequential damage or for loss of virtual items caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, including for intent or gross negligence.
9. Termination
You can stop playing and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may terminate these terms for serious or repeated breaches.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring claims there.
